Conan is a British doom metal band that emerged in 2006. Based in Liverpool, the group describes its primitive music as Caveman battle doom. Conan released its debut EP, Battle the Swamp, in 2007 and took its time developing a following before dropping its 2012 LP, Monnos. Released by Burning World Records, the album demonstrated a more diverse sound from the band, including elements of stoner metal and sludge.
