Daniel Holdsworth

Hailing from Australia, Daniel Holdsworth is a musician and composer who creates a wide variety of music from alternative rock to classical. Having played and studied music throughout his childhood and adolescence, he began to work as a session musician at the age of fifteen and went on to teach music and play in bands while attending university. A singer/songwriter and guitarist for the rock band The Saturns, he toured Australia extensively during the mid-2000s while releasing records such as the band's 2007 debut EP Here's The Saturns. While working with other bands such as The Maple Trail, he began to compose for theater and dance productions and eventually began to earn musical director positions for shows such the 2008 production of Williams Yang's My Generation, at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra, Australia. Holdsworth finally released material under his own name in 2012, in the form of a single titled "Rituals."
