Clairy Browne & the Bangin' Rackettes is an R&B group from Melbourne, Australia that's fronted by soul singer Clairy Browne. The nine-piece outfit was formed in 2009, when Browne was assembling act together for the rhythm and blues night club, Sweet Jelly Roll. The show earned rave reviews during its initial run, catalyzing a national tour for the band. Clairy Browne & the Bangin' Rackettes solidified into a proper outfit and dropped its debut album Baby Caught the Bus, in 2011.
