Based on the Greek myth about Thyestes, the king whose sons were slaughtered and fed to him without his knowledge, the latest take on the tragedy is a contemporary Australian version. Directed and co-written by Simon Stone, Thyestes is set in modern times and portrayed through a series of domestic scenes full of satirical commentary and dark comedy, but still retaining the original themes of the myth.
