Austin, Texas band Sleep ∞ Over is among a growing contingent of artists exploring the realm of washed out, lo-fi sounds to create a dreamy, if somewhat haunting effect. Despite the group's music being extremely awash in effects and atmosphere, the group pulls melody and pop out of it with relative ease. The group signed their debut record to the venerable Hippos In Tanks imprint, a Brooklyn-based label at the forefront of many of these musical stylings.
