The Ontario, Canada-based band Arkells is one of the region's more recent success stories, winning Canada's prestigious Juno Music Award for "New Group of the Year" in 2010. The group has scored modest hits with "Oh, The Boss Is Coming!" a cheeky pop rock tune about making sure you look busy at work. The band is known for a penchant for fun in its music--a refreshing change of pace amidst a pop market awash in depressive, self-loathing characters and songs.
