About
Hierophant is an Italian doom metal outfit that's based in British Columbia. Not to be confused with Shooter Jennings's backing band of the same name, the band combines elements of hardcore punk, thrash metal and black metal to craft a sound it describes as deathpunk. Hierophant signed with Bridge Nine records and dropped its first release with the label, an LP titled Peste, in 2014, and subsequently embarked on a massive European tour.
