Mokoma is a Finnish metal band that was formed in Lappeenranta in 1996 by the band’s frontman Marko Annala. The group originally debuted as a rock band, but changed its style to tight thrash metal with non-melodic sound. Mokoma started its own record company and has since become one of the most popular thrash metal bands in Europe.
