Growing up absorbing a steady stream of Motown, funk and disco, Charles Feelgood would eventually put his musical knowledge to use with an influential career as a DJ. Feelgood became one of the earliest purveyors of electronic music in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. areas, beginning to spin house music by the early 1990s. His lively DJ sets caused a stir, and by 1993, he was running his own label and hosting club events that were drawing over 2,000 people. Though he's adapted to changing trends and styles over the years, Feelgood is still most comfortable while spinning sets that incorporate plenty of funk and disco elements into the steady pulse of house music.
