The trio from Minneapolis, Minnesota has a unique approach to playing jazz and unlike other contemporary jazz acts, The Bad Plus isn't afraid to incorporate modern songwriting elements into its songs. The band has even played covers of songs from rock bands like Queen, The Pixies, Rush and Interpol.
