Jamie N Commons is a Gothic-folk singer from England whose unique voice and characteristically opaque instrumentals have brought the musician aclaim since he arrived on the scene in 2008. Undoubtedly taking inspiration from the the unmistakable stylings of Tom Waits, Jamie N Commons fills his songs full of sea shanty, back woods barn stomping and tin pan alley inspired sounds to give his tracks a lush, but fairly dreary touche.
