When Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi formed their blues and soul revivalist band in 1978 as a bit on the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, there was no knowing that it would turn into a seminal group of their generation. The Brothers made a comedic movie in 1980 and people liked the group's music so much that a cover band called Jake and Elwood has even sprung up. The group travels Europe and has a reputation for bringing down the house.
