Legendary Italian composer Giacomo Puccini is famed for his operatic masterpieces. He was born in Tuscany in 1858, born into a family with a legacy of musical talent. In his youth, Puccini studied at the Milan Conservatory. Puccini went on to composer some of the greatest operas of our time, including La Boheme, Madame Butterfly, Tosca and Turandot. His highly successful opera contain masterful use of melody and display an unmatched structural deftness. Many of his artistic contributions have now been absorbed into popular culture, making him an indispensable figure in the Western world.
