Manchester's Mark Foster is a dubstep producer who goes by the stage name MRK1. Formerly referred to as Mark One, he is best known for his work with Virus Syndicate, a dubstep collective that includes MCs Goldfinger and Nika D. He incorporates elements of British hip hop, garage rock, and dancehall music into his productions, creating a fusion of music known as grime.
