Perth Scorchers is one of the mightiest cricket teams that compete in the Big Bash League (BBL)- Australia's Twenty20 cricket competition. It was formed in 2011 and has been representing Perth in the league ever since. The team won the majestic title of BBL for the first time in 2014. Winning the BBL is a major achievement for any team and the Perth Scorchers managed to do it again in 2015. In 2017, the team created history and sent its fans into a world of utter happiness when it achieved the unimaginable- winning the BBL title for the third time. The major keystone in the massive successes is the team’s roster which had previously held great players such as Brad Hogg, Mitch Marsh and Ashton Turner. The team plays its home games at the Perth Stadium.
