Sierra Leone Refugee All Stars is a reggae band that was formed in 2002 by a group of refugees who fled to Guinea during the Sierra Leone Civil War. Helping raise awareness about various humanitarian issues with its music, the band was the subject of a 2005 documentary that helped bring the group into the public's consciousness. The band released its debut LP, Living Like a Refugee, in 2006 and since then the All Stars have been busy trekking across the globe, playing shows and exposing listeners to a world of injustice that is typically veiled to their eyes.
