About
Renaud and Gautier Capuçon are musicians from France who are credited for bringing sex appeal to classical music and simultaneously bringing symphonic music to a new generation. Renaud began playing the violin when he was four while Gautier took up the cello when he was five years old. Despite their age difference --Renaud is five years Gautier's senior-- they began playing music together when Gautier was 15 and Renaud was 20. Both leading musicians, the Capuçon brothers hold Brahms's music particularly close while still approaching classical music with a modern ear.
