The solo project of front man of German band Benevolent, Stefan Honig--who goes by simply Honig--creates acoustic ballads with vocals akin to Sufjan Stevens. While his song styles are fairly straightforward indie folk-pop, his earnestness easily wins over audiences. Based out of Dusseldorf, Honig tours primarily throughout Germany, but sings in English.
