Formed in 1994, Gigi, an Indonesian rock band led by Armand Maulana and Dewa Budjana, has released fifteen studio albums. Known for hits like "11 Januari" and "Nakal," they also gained recognition for religious compilations and Dewa Budjana's solo career. In '94, their debut "Angan" sold over 100,000 copies, followed by "Dunia" in '95 with hits "Janji" and "Nirwana." Amidst success, Baron left for studies in the US, and tensions arose in '96 between Ronald and Thomas. With a rich musical legacy, Gigi continues to be a prominent fixture in the Indonesian music scene.
