Da Weasel is a Portuguese hip-hop group formed in Lisbon in 1993. Consisting of members Pacman, Virgul, Jay Jay, Al Berto, Guilherme, and DJ Glue, the group quickly gained a following for their energetic live performances and socially conscious lyrics. Their debut album, "Dou-lhe Com a Alma" released in 1999, received critical acclaim and established them as a force in the Portuguese music scene. Over the years, Da Weasel continued to release successful albums such as "Iniciação à Glória" in 2000, "Re-tratamento" in 2001, and "Amor, Escárnio e Maldizer" in 2003. Their music is known for blending hip-hop beats with rock and reggae influences, creating a unique sound that resonated with fans of all genres.
