The 502s are an American indie folk band from Maitland, Florida, founded by Eddie Isola. Known for their "folk orchestra" sound, blending roots, rock, and bluegrass, they draw comparisons to bands like Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and The Avett Brothers. Initially formed in 2016 with Isola's cousins, the band has since expanded, including members like Matthew Tonner, Joe Capati, and Graci Phillips. Their energetic live performances and eclectic instrumental arrangements have earned them a strong following. The 502s gained significant attention with their 2021 album Could It Get Better Than This and the viral success of their song "Just A Little While" on TikTok. They continued to release music, including a self-titled album in 2024, and embarked on the Great American Road Trip Tour, further solidifying their place in the indie folk scene.
