Sylar is a hardcore band from New York City that was formed in 2011. Becoming a noted fixture on the New York City post hardcore scene during its formative years, Sylar would go on to release its debut album, To Whom it May Concern, in 2014. Though the group has undergone a number of lineup changes since its inception, Sylar has managed with dogged persistence to carry on, releasing music and touring with regularity.
