Grant Peeples and the Peeple's Republic

Initially playing music in college, Grant Peeples was invited to Nashville by a record label rep who had heard one of his demo tracks. Though still in college, Peeples took the opportunity and moved to Nashville, only lasting for a year before deciding that the music scene wasn't for him. Decades later, however, Peeples was drawn back to music, picked up an acoustic guitar and has been writing Americana cuts with a slight twang ever since. Performing everywhere from churches to bars with his backing band, the Peeple's Republic, the singer/songwriter appeals to a diverse audience throughout the South.
