The Wholetones

While it may not be a usual thing for bands to blend metal with bluegrass and folk, The Wholetones does so with ease and calls it "folkcore." The four-piece is based out of Naples, Florida and utilizes instruments ranging from the cello to the banjo. The Wholetones' live show involves pre-written tracks blended with impromptu jam sessions, suited equally to outdoor bluegrass festivals and late night indoor concerts. Since forming in 2007, The Wholetones has made a name for itself on the live circuit throughout the South.
