Preferring traditional American music styles like class bluegrass and Appalachian folk, Toneblazers is a band deeply rooted in the traditions of the American South, specifically of the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina, where the five-piece is based. While the band members are all musicians in their own right, and have played with a variety of groups in a variety of musical styles, they got together to form Toneblazers in 2009 and have since found success through performing at several prominent bluegrass festivals.
