Dragonette is an electropop group from Toronto, Canada that, despite only achieving moderate critical success on the Canadian pop scene, has been making waves internationally since the release of its debut album Galore in 2007. Established in 2007 when due Martina Sorbara and Dan Kurtz met at a music festival and decided to get together to make music in a basement recording studio. Since then, Dragonette has slowly but surely been rising from middling success on the Canadian pop charts to becoming an international electropop sensation with each album the duo releases.
