Raghu Dixit

Raghu Dixit is an Indian musician from Mysore who is known for his eclectic fusion style. Though he grew up with intentions of utilizing his Masters degree in microbiology (he didn't pick up a guitar until he was 19), Dixit soon found prominence with his songwriting, which fuses traditional Indian elements with Western genres such as rock, blues and folk. In addition to his solo work, he runs The Raghu Dixit Project, an open house for dance, poetry, music and other creative endeavors. The project affords Dixit the opportunity to collaborate with a constantly revolving door of musicians, helping to further add to his diverse palette of sounds.
