Slo Burn was a stoner rock band from southern California that was active during 1996 and 1997. Formed by John Garcia, former member of the disbanded Kyuss, Slo Burn was completed with guitarist Chris Hale, bassist Damon Garrison and drummer Brady Houghton. The four-piece band began distributing a five-song demo tape in 1996, and released its debut EP Amusing the Amazing, through Malicious Vinyl in 1997. Slo Burn promoted the EP by touring with Ozzfest, but decided to break up before the end of the year.
