Oceansize

Oceansize (years active: 1998-2011) was a progressive rock band from Manchester, England that led a very successful touring career throughout the 2000s. Having released four studio albums since it formed in 1998, Oceansize did much to expand the boundaries of post-rock and progressive rock in the new millennium. Known for taking a "jamming" approach to songwriting, the members of Oceansize often fished through hours and hours of jamming to locate gems they would then mold into shorter, more effective songs.
