Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners (RMCM) is an indie folk-rock band from Colorado Springs, Colorado, consisting of members Mitch Cutts, Nic Haughn, and Jakob Ervin. The band formed in high school and quickly gained traction with their 2017 debut album RMCM, which featured songs like "Evergreen" and "St. Paul." Their music blends heartfelt storytelling with rich acoustic arrangements, often exploring themes of nature, love, and personal introspection. In 2018, they released Solstice, which included fan favorites like "Swiss Woods" and "Chakra in Basel." Following that, they dropped Subliming in 2019, showcasing their continued evolution with tracks such as "WET SOCKS." RMCM’s blend of indie rock and Americana has garnered millions of streams, building a dedicated fan base worldwide. The band released new singles like "Thunderhead" (2023) and "Northstar" (2024), marking their growth as both musicians and lyricists.
