Larrikin Love (years active: 2005-2007) was an indie rock band from London, England that, despite its extremely short career, produced songs that would help to define the experimental nature of indie rock in the mid-2000s. Taking various disparate genres of music such as calypso, punk and bluegrass, Larrikin Love infused these styles of music with a smattering of Irish folk to create an interestingly catchy and irreverent indie rock sound. Unfortunately for fans, Larrikin Love disbanded after only 2 short years, but the band's influence still lives on.
