Houston Calls (years active: 2003-2009) was a pop punk band from Rockaway, New Jersey that experienced a huge surge of popularity in the mid-2000s before choosing to disband in 2009. Beginning with the release of the band's official debut album A Collection of Short Stories in 2005, Houston Calls saw its fans increase dramatically, primarily due to internet sales of the album. Following some line-up changes, Houston Calls released its second and final album The End of the Error about 3 years later to middling reviews and lukewarm sales. As a result, many of the band's members decided to go their own way, and in 2009, Houston Calls disbanded for good.
