Honey is Cool

Honey is Cool was Swedish alternative rock/pop band that formed in 1994. The band's original lineup consisted of front woman Karin Dreijer, drummer Johan Hagström, bassist Staffan Larsson and guitarist Anders Göthberg. After recording a demo, Honey is Cool received invitations to some of Sweden's biggest festivals and was signed to the Sun Spot. The label released the band's debut EP Focky Focky No Pay, in 1996, before Honey is Cool switched over to MVG records. The band released its first album Crazy Love, in 1997, which received positive reviews from critics but failed to sell many copies. The band's sound never caught on with fans, and despite releasing two more EPs and a final album, Early Morning Are You Working? in 1999, Honey is Cool disbanded the following year in 2000.
