Lungelihle Zwane, known as Uncle Waffles, is a prominent Swazi DJ and record producer renowned for her work in the amapiano genre. Born on March 30, 2000, Zwane was raised in Eswatini and later moved to South Africa for university. She began DJing during the COVID-19 lockdowns and quickly gained recognition after a viral video of her dance performance. Her debut single, "Tanzania," became a hit in South Africa, earning 7x platinum certification. She released her debut EP "Red Dragon" in March 2022, followed by "Asylum" in March 2023, which was certified gold. Uncle Waffles has performed internationally, including at Coachella, and partnered with KFC South Africa for a branded burger. Her single "Wadibusa" reached No. 4 on the Local Top 100 in 2024. She will embark on her "Less Talk, More Piano Tour" starting June 2024.
