Alberto Cotta Ramusino, known as Tananai, is an Italian singer-songwriter, rapper, and producer born on May 8, 1995, in Milan. He began his career in 2017 under the pseudonym Not For Us, releasing his debut album To Discover and Forget. Later, adopting the name Tananai, derived from a Milanese slang meaning "troublemaker," he focused on producing music in Italian. Tananai gained recognition with singles like "Volersi male" and "Giugno" before achieving mainstream success in 2021 with "Baby Goddamn," which went viral on Spotify. He participated in the Sanremo Music Festival in 2022 and 2023 with the songs "Sesso occasionale" and "Tango," respectively. His album Rave, eclissi (2022) peaked at #3 on the Italian charts and was certified triple platinum, solidifying his position in the Italian music scene.
