Chris Farley

Chris Farley was an American comedian and actor who was well-known for his tenure on the sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live. Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Farley would go on to graduate from Marquette University in 1986 before moving to Chicago and pursuing a career as a professional comedian. After performing with Chicago's Second City Theater group, he was noticed by SNL producer Lorne Michaels and shortly announced as a cast member in 1990. Frequently performing with the likes of Adam Sandler, David Spade, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider, a group that would go on to be dubbed "the bad boys of SNL," Farley would go on to become one of the show's fan favorites, and after leaving SNL in 1995, he'd star in a number of films. Unfortunately, Farley grappled with a number of vices toward the end of his career and would eventually die from a morphine and cocaine overdose in 1997, at the age of 33.
