Bargain Music (years active: 2000-2006) was a reggae/dub outfit from Long Beach, California that, despite its penchant for performing in the reggae genre, was particularly known for its diverse songwriting. From funk, country, to even metal, Bargain Music's lead songwriter Josh Fischel had a knack for tying together disparate styles into a brand of music that never sacrificed its fun for edginess. Despite the talents of its members, Bargain Music never truly amassed enough fans to keep up with the road, and in 2006, its members decided to disband and go their separate ways.
