Abdul Jeleel Yussuf was known as Jeleel (stylized as JELEEL!), is an American rapper, singer, and producer from Providence, Rhode Island. Raised in Pawtucket, Jeleel, of Nigerian descent, attended La Salle Academy and graduated from Loyola University Maryland. He began gaining attention with his 2019 project Angel From Heaven and the 2020 EP Generation Z. His 2021 single, "Dive In!", went viral on TikTok, leading to over 50 million Spotify streams and a partnership with 10K Projects. Jeleel's 2022 releases include "Rain On You!", "Clubhouse!" with Mike Dimes, "Uncivilized! (Go!)", "Stone Cold!", and "Deliver!". His debut studio album, Real Raw!, was released on May 5, 2023. Jeleel is noted for his energetic style that blends rap, punk, and R&B, featuring rock-inspired production and memorable hooks.
