The Cavemen. is a Nigerian highlife band formed by siblings Kingsley Okorie (bassist) and Benjamin James (drummer). Originating from Orlu, Imo State, the duo began as choristers and officially formed their band in March 2018. Kingsley, a law graduate, and Benjamin, a music graduate from Peter King College of Music, quickly gained attention with their debut single "Osondu" in 2020. Their debut album, Roots, released the same year, was fully produced by the duo in their living room and earned them the 2020 Headies Award for Best Alternative Album. Known for revitalizing traditional highlife music, The Cavemen. released their sophomore album Love and Highlife in 2021. They continue to gain recognition, featuring on Davido's Timeless album in 2023, and are celebrated for their authentic sound and innovative approach to highlife.
