San Marcos, Texas native Adam Johnson might still be in his teenage years, but he already has an impressive background of stage experience and a diverse knowledge of blues and soul classic styles. The young musician moved to Austin and picked up the the rhythm section dubbed The Pay Me's, a duo also involved in Austin's respected band Asylum Street Spankers. With several residencies around the city, Adam Johnson & The Pay Me's is quickly gaining attention amongst blues and soul enthusiasts.
