Since forming in 2008, Tulsa, Oklahoma-based group The Moai Broadcast has managed to create a good amount of buzz for itself with a unique electronic sound that's created by five instrumentalists who all possess the same unique vision when it comes to making music. The Moai Broadcast has dubbed the style of music it creates "rocktronica" and the term adequately encapsulates the forward-thinking songs the group cranks out. With an engaging live show, that highlights the band's knack for instrumental flair, The Moai Broadcast has risen above its electronic peers, who oftentimes simply hunker behind laptops when performing live.
