Dennison de Lima Gomes, better known as DENNIS, is truly a phenomenon! Established as one of the most renowned artists in the current funk scene, he is synonymous with talent and versatility. Hailing from Duque de Caxias, RJ, he began his musical journey at the age of 13, performing at local neighborhood parties. By 15, he was entertaining at weddings and major events, and at 17, he hosted his first radio show on the now-defunct Imprensa FM. However, his fame skyrocketed when he joined the Furacão 2000 team. During this time, he produced some of the biggest hits in Rio funk, including "Cerol na Mão," "Um tapinha não dói," "Dança da Motinha," "De segunda a sexta," "Vai Lacraia," and many other tracks that have become classics in the ears of the public.
