UC Santa Barbara Gauchos

The Santa Barbara Gauchos represents the athletic programs and intercollegiate teams of the University of California, Santa Barbara. A Division I school, UC Santa Barbara competed in the Big West Conference until 2013, when it moved to the West Coast Conference. The program also has a few teams that compete in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. UC Santa Barbara's program includes sports such as women's basketball, men's soccer, men's volleyball and women's swimming. The school won NCAA National Championships for men's water polo and men's soccer in 1979 and 2006, respectively.
