Saint Peter's Peacocks

This co-ed Jesuit Roman Catholic School located in Jersey City, NJ presents its teams as the Peacocks for men's athletics, and the Peahens for women's sports. The university plays in NCAA Division I and within the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Peacocks and Peahens compete on more than 18 teams, in which they play basketball, baseball, softball, golf, etc. The men's basketball team has had the most success at the university, with three MAAC championships as well as subsequent entry to the NCAA's 'March Madness' in 1991, 1995 and 2011.
