I remember the days "Cotton Eye Joe" was number one on the U.K. charts, as well as in about seven other European countries. The Rednex had relative chart success across Europe with this single, but the band has only maintained its success in Sweden. However, the group's most recent 2008 number one single, entitled "Football Is Our Religion," was quite profound and proved the band to be more than just a one-hit-wonder.
