Safeplanet is a Thai indie-pop band formed by Thitiphat "A" Arthachinda (lead vocals, guitarist), Aphiwich "Doi" Khamfoo (drummer), and Chayapan "Yee" Chantranuson (bassist). The band members, who studied jazz at Silpakorn and Mahidol universities, originally played in other bands before coming together to form Safeplanet. Their music blends guitar-driven pop with a DIY ethic, creating a distinctive sound that resonates with fans. Safeplanet's name reflects the idea of a "safe area" where they can create comfortably. They debuted in 2016 with the single "Klong Dam" and gained popularity with hits like "Khamtop" and "Kot Khwam Chep Cham" from their album Safeboys. Their signature style is characterized by emotional lyrics and layered instrumentation. The band has released two albums and held notable concerts, including the "Neonplanet Concert" in 2019 and the "Bon Voyage Concert" in 2023, celebrating their eight-year journey.
