After being a member of the hip hop group Sherlock, Petter released his solo debut album Mitt sjätte sinne (My Sixth Sense) in 1996. The LP included the hit singles "Mikrofonkåt" and "Vinden har vänt." The album played a pivotal role in the formation and acceptance of Swedish hip hop and Petter has been touring and releasing albums frequently ever since.
