The Adams

The Adams is an Indonesian indie rock band formed in 2002. Originating from Jakarta, the band was initially composed of Ario Hendarwan, Martino Runtuhaku, Setyo Dwiharso, and Bawono Adhiantoro. The band changed its name from Lonely Band to The Adams shortly after formation. Following lineup changes, the band gained recognition with their 2005 debut album, The Adams, which featured the track "Konservatif." Their sophomore album, V2.05 (2006), solidified their presence in the indie scene. After a hiatus in 2010, The Adams returned in 2014, releasing new material, including the EP ß Release (2017) and their third album, Agterplaas (2019). Despite further lineup changes, including the departures of Pandu Fuzztoni and Ghina Salsabila in 2024, The Adams continue to be a significant influence in Indonesian indie rock.
