An NCAA Division I athletics squad, the Retrievers proudly represent the University of Maryland from Baltimore County with multiple sponsored teams in various disciplines such as basketball, lacrosse, baseball, cross country, soccer, swimming and diving, track and field and volleyball for both men and women. A treasured member of the American East Conference, the Retrievers have been calling the UMBC Stadium their home since 1976. Their illustrious alumni include the likes of Zach Clark, Wayne Franklin and Dan Marohl.
