The Portland Pilots represents the athletic programs and intercollegiate teams of the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon. The university has NCAA Division I standing and competes in the West Coast Conference, which is comprised entirely of religious institutions. Portland's women's soccer program won its first national title in 2002 and its cross country programs are regularly considered to be amongst the best in the country. Other men's and women's sports fielded by the university include baseball, basketball, volleyball, rowing and tennis.
